Ghana Economic Well-Being Project receives first batch of Kantanka Vehicles
Kantanka Automobile Company as part of its mission to help eradicate poverty in the country has delivered two vehicles to the Economic Well-Being Project in support of their “Eradication of Poverty Project”.
The company took delivery of two of its vehicles, the Kantanka Onantefo 2017 (4X4 SUV) and the Kantanka Amoanimaa (sedan) to the Institute of Applied Science and Technology, IAST at University of Ghana, Legon.
The event which took place at the Department of Chemistry, University of Ghana Legon saw both Kantanka Automobile Company and the College of Basic and Applied Sciences sign a Memo to support the Ghana Economic Well-Being Project. The project which is expected to involve a lot of stakeholders of which the company is part will seek to eradicate the poverty situation of the economy in a stipulated period of time.
The CEO of Kantanka Group, Kwadwo Safo Jnr showed his gratitude to the project administrators for the partnership and urged them to support the local initiative as well as automobile was concerned. The Executive Secretary of the project Dr. Noskin Atidigah who received the vehicles acknowledged and showed his gratitude on behalf of the institute and thanked the company for their support for the Ghana Economic Well-Being Project dubbed “Eradicating Poverty Project”.
The General Manager of Kantanka Automobile Company, Francis Kodjo Kudjodjie stated that the company supported the project as the project fell in line with the company’s vision and mission and therefore they were delighted to be part of this project as the project will also assist the company to outdoor its model of vehicles to support government projects. He further stated that the Kantanka Onantefo SUV and the Kantanka Amoanimaa will enhance the smooth operation of the project as these model of vehicles made by the company has the capacity to aid day to day operations.
